Catch A Lift Fund gifts free gym memberships to wounded vets, post 9-11, anywhere in the USA, so that they may begin their healing, both mentally and physically. The vet can choose the gym of his or her choice, anywhere in the US, Catch A Lift pays the membership and if they need a “buddy” to help them at the gym, we gift their membership as well.
With over 55,000 wounded returning service members, and a staggering 30% suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI), Catch A Lift Fund wants to help them find their way, once back home.
CAL has been extremely well received and we have been told fills a niche that is very much needed. We proudly have been endorsed by the Adaptive Sports Programs Coordinator, Department of Orthopedics & Rehabilitation, Harvey Naranjo, at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Mr. Naranjo, is currently sending us vets that can benefit from our service.
